Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in music each Sunday at the 10:55 a.m. worship service as well as performing several presentations throughout the year. The choir rehearses in the Sanctuary on Wednesday evenings at 6:50 p.m. The Chancel Choir begins their year with a retreat in August.

Chancel Bells

As an extension of the music ministry for a small group (10-15 hand bell ringers) of Intermediate/Advanced level, this group performs at regular and special worship services. Rehearsals, Wednesday afternoons from 5:15-6:00 p.m., are mandatory. The Chancel Bells will attend the New Ebenezer Handbell Festival in Savannah in the spring.

Instrumentalists

Pianist and Organist provide music for Sunday worship services, communion, and special services. In addition, a number of soloists share their talents for regular worship services and communion services. Jamie Smith holds the position of pianist, and Angela Ervin holds the position of organist.

Drama Troupe

A vital part of our Performing Arts is our Drama Troupe under the leadership of Dr. James Golden. This group meets seasonally on Sundays and produces our very moving Maundy Thursday Communion/Drama, the highlight of Holy Week.   The Drama Troupe rehearsals are held on Sunday.
