Preschool Program
We believe every child is special and every child is unique. Our main objective is to provide a positive atmosphere which will promote the social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth of children. Learning experiences appropriate for the developmental age of each group are provided daily. Two, three, and four year programs are available September through May. Children's Church
As an extension of the 11:00 am worship hour, children meet in the Educational Building following the Children's Sermon for a time of worship that caters to our children's needs. What a way to prepare them for worship in years to come.
Acolytes
Beginning in the 2nd grade, children are invited to assist the ministers in worship by serving as an acolyte. The acolytes light the altar candles, distribute the offering plates, and assist in other areas of the worship service. This is an important ministry. The word acolyte is taken from the ancient Greek word that meant helper. The acolyte is part of a team that will help people worship God.
Kids of the Kingdom
Our mid-week Children's Ministry meets from 4:00-6:00 pm. each Wednesday afternoon. This is an open enrollment program, children may join at any time. The children will be greeted with a yummy snack, crazy games, praise music and special musical arrangements during their choir time and then they're off to an age appropriate class for a fun time of learning. Come as you are and bring a friend!
Vacation Bible School

For many families VBS is the highlight of Summer Church activities. Bible School is traditionally held the first half of the Summer for children 4 yrs - 6th grade. VBS is an exciting week of Bible based themes that are fun and relevant for children today. The curriculum allows children and leaders to explore through music, crafts, Bible Study, recreation, fellowship and snacks. This is a free ministry to the whole community. Think back on your memories of Vacation Bible School...Aren't those memories special?
Other Activities and Special Events
Breakfast with Santa
The entire community is invited to this once a year special event on the 1st Saturday of December. Santa comes to visit and the church is transformed into a winter wonderland with lights, decorations and Santa's little elves busily working. From 9:00-11:00 am. on Saturday morning. You just can't hold the children back as they make crafts, sit on Santa's lap, participate in a coloring contest and have their fill of a pancake breakfast. Adults can also enjoy the breakfast and activities for the cost of a ticket. Tickets can be purchased through the church office.
Special Events
Children's ministry also calls for fun! The Spring and summer months are a great time to involve the kids in special daytime activities. some of these events include a pool party, putt-putt golf, skating and other fun field trips.
