NEEDED: Someone to do Fellowship Coffee on the following dates-November 1st, 22nd and 29th. Coffee, cups, napkins are provided. Just add small “eats”. Call Leslie at the church office to sign up.
TRUNK OR TREAT-We are having a Trunk or Treat at JUMC this year, on Wednesday, October 28th from 6pm-7pm. Arrive around 5:30 pm to park your car and bring a chair to sit in and pass out treats as the children walk around. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the narthex or you can email shellyvincent@yahoo.com to reserve your parking spot. Treats can be candy, small toys, etc.
THE DISCIPLE’S PATH-A six week study on what it means to be a Disciple of Jesus in and through the United Methodist Church. This is a great study for those who are lifelong United Methodists and for those who are new to the United Methodist Church. It will be offered at two different times, Sunday nights, 6:00-7:30 pm (November 1st-December 13th) and Wednesday mornings, 10:00-11:30 am (November 4th-December 16th), room 106. Books will be available October 25th so we can begin with chapter one. Cost: $16.00 for 2 books. (workbook and companion reader, both suggested for participants) Facilitator: Greg Meadows.
