United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men will be a creative supportive fellowship of men, who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek daily His will. Its primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships. Work groups are formed to provide ministry to the congregation. All men in our congregation are welcome to become a part of this mission and ministry team. UMM meet 2nd Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m. in Sanctuary.

The Seekers Circle from 5:30 - 7:00, the Dorcas Circle from 6:45- 8:00 with combined announcements and refreshments at 6:45. The UMW is organized for Ministry and Mission and sponsor projects like the Sharing our Best" cookbook, Marble Festival Road Race, Easter Egg Hunt, church picnic and more. All ladies are welcome. Our ministry exists for students from 6th to 12th grade. Our desire is for all students to be able to find community, grow in their faith, talk about what it means to be a Christian in their community, and have fun. We want students to see how God wants their life to be full of purpose and direction.

Sunday Morning is another vital part of our youth ministry for youth to grow in and discuss their faith. There are 3 classes: high school, middle school girls, and middle school boys.
Youth Bible Study
On Wednesday night from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. is a time where students can dig deeper into Scripture and see how it intersects their lives.

Jesus ... Said to them, "Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
We believe every child is special and every child is unique. Our main objective is to provide a positive atmosphere which will promote the social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth of children. Learning experiences appropriate for the developmental age of each group are provided daily. Two, three, and four year programs are available September through May. For more information, contact Deborah Goodrum 706-253-2109
As an extension of the 11:00 am worship hour, children meet in the Educational Building following the Children's Sermon for a time of worship that caters to our children's needs. What a way to prepare them for worship in years to come.
Kids of the Kingdom
Our mid-week Children's Ministry meets from 4:00-6:00 pm. each Wednesday afternoon. This is an open enrollment program, children may join at any time. The children will be greeted with a yummy snack, crazy games, praise music and special musical arrangements during their choir time and then they're off to an age appropriate class for a fun time of learning. Come as you are and bring a friend!
Vacation Bible School
For many families VBS is the highlight of Summer Church activities. Bible School is traditionally held the first half of the Summer for children 4 yrs - 6th grade. VBS is an exciting week of Bible based themes that are fun and relevant for children today. The curriculum allows children and leaders to explore through music, crafts, Bible Study, recreation, fellowship and snacks. This is a free ministry to the whole community. Think back on your memories of Vacation Bible School...Aren't those memories special?
Music and the Arts
Music and the Arts
"O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvelous things; His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory."
"I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples."
Music is one of the most common forms of worship named in the Bible. We have a wide variety of options for adults and youth who like to sing or play an instrument. Our goal is to praise the Lord and inspire our congregation with an exciting and challenging repertoire of music.
Everyone is invited to join one of our many music ministries as we kick off a new year together. Please note the schedule on the main calendar and jump on board. Small groups are so important in a growing medium to large church. I would also like to encourage everyone to wear his/her name tags (call the church office if you need to order a new one) so we can put a name with a face as we continue to grow in this great church.
